Politicians are always showing us who they are with their words and deeds
So let's play a game of "Who Am I?"
In politics, if you don’t define yourself, others will do it for you. Most are master communicators (just ask one), and ably paint vivid pictures of themselves. In other words, believe them when they tell you and show you who they are.
On that, let’s play a game of Who Am I? where we write a descriptive introduction of a politician based on how well they have defined themselves, whether behind a podium, in interviews, their public conduct or their policy ideas. Use as many single adjectives as you can because, after all, we want readers to quickly figure out who we’re writing about based, solely, on what that politician has said and done to give rise to what we’ve written. I’ll start:
Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome to the stage one of the most abhorrent, absurd, anti-Semitic, authoritarian, bankrupt, bigoted, birther, bully, cheapskate, cheater, charlatan, compromised, conspiracist, convicted, cowardly, creepy, criminal, cruel, detestable, desperate, disgusting, divisive, dotard, felon, fraudulent, greedy, humourless, ignorant, impeached, incoherent, incompetent, indicted, inane, infantile, insurrectionist, Islamophobic, lazy, litigious, loathsome, loser, lying, malevolent, mendacious, misogynistic, narcissistic, offensive, petty, philandering, phoney, racist, rapist, reactionary, scammer, sexist, shameless, spiteful, toxic, traitorous, transphobic, uncurious, unfit, unkind, unpleasant, unstable, weak, weirdo you’ll ever hear speak.
